Nainital & Pangot Diaries
In the valley of the clouds, beneath the Mesmerizing Himalayas lies the beautiful Pangot. A small village
with lust green Deodars and pines with the fresh fragrance of green grasses.
Places like Pangot, has always been amoungst my center of Destination.
We started our journey from Delhi,India at night. The journey was pretty amazing as it was a bike ride.Sudden olans are always freaking awesome. We went at around 12.30 AM,A chilly winter night in delhi. The night was young and we were pretty much in air.We reached at around morning 7 am at nainital, its around an hour or half from Nainital where we planned to camp for the day-Pangot(A heaven untouched by
the human intervences. To be very frank, the first view was indeed amazing, looking at the snow
capped beauty of the himalayas can truely make you forget the 8 hours of journey through bike at night, especially. We reached the campsite at around 10 am as it was one hell of a road!!!The camp(Hidden Valley Camp)was pretty good, but initially I really was quite not satisfied with the location as it was quite in an isolated location and communication was quite a roller coaster. But trust me!!I never ever saw a truely mesmerizing Sunset ever anywhere as such.It was around 4 pm and suddenly the mountains got wrapped under the clouds and that my friend was just splendid. One can feel the clouds
and moisture of the place and within fraction of time it turned into a blooming pink sky and them the million dollar sunset took all the rest things to be considered in vain.It was worth travelling up to such heights.Night was high,we ate, drank, sang and enjoyed a lot with the bonefire being arranged at the campsite. The food was really good too good,I must admit. It was indeed a memorable journey..The place is still over my head. Thanks to the
Camp Hidden Valley for hosting us so well. And not to forget the 3 munchkins~Bruno,Tuffy and Sniper the adorable, trained dogs to make your stay more happier. They also have some greatadventure activities for the fun lovers too.We then came on our way back to the lake city nainital, witnessing its beautiful Nainitaal/Lake. Strawling around the streets of the Famous Tibetian Market and tasting the famous mutton momos the place has to offer.Your Journey would definitely be incomplete without a ride in the beautiful boats of the Naintal lake.Evening by 4 pm we left for Delhi and wake up next day for an another regular day of work and thus a day of peace ended and the Journey still continues.Stay tuned for more Travel Stories and guide.
Places to visit in Naintal-Nainial lake,Tibetian Lake,Eco cave Garden,Snow View Point,Pangot,Ranikhet are amoungst top center of attractions.
